Williton Police Station

We were appointed to deliver the ground floor fit‑out of Williton Police Station in Somerset, creating a fully operational facility within West Somerset House.

The project involved transforming existing office accommodation to provide a new police reception space, operational interview rooms and support facilities for staff and detainees.

Alongside the internal works, external alterations were required to support the station’s operational needs, including secure access arrangements and vehicle support facilities.

The scheme was delivered to programme and budget, with careful coordination throughout to ensure functionality, security and quality across all areas.

• Creation of a new public reception area
• Refurbishment of toilet and shower facilities
• Formation of interview rooms, general office space, holding rooms and staff changing and welfare areas
• Delivery of robust, practical finishes suitable for operational policing use
• Provision of facilities to support the storage and maintenance of operational vehicles
• Elevational alterations including removal of existing windows and masonry sections
• Installation of access‑controlled door sets to form a dedicated entrance to interview area
