We were appointed to deliver the refurbishment of three industrial units
at Old Mill Road, Portishead.

The project involved a full strip‑out and a complete roof replacement, including the removal of existing asbestos materials and installation of a new insulated roof system. These upgrades, alongside wider refurbishment works, contributed to improving the buildings’ energy performance from an EPC rating of F to B.

The presence of asbestos added complexity to the programme, requiring careful management and coordination with specialist contractors to ensure works were delivered safely and without impact to programme. Following completion of the roof works, a full internal and external refurbishment was carried out to transform the units into modern, functional industrial spaces.
