Marshgate Industrial Estate, Swindon

We were appointed to deliver the full refurbishment of Unit 1, Marshgate Industrial Estate in Swindon, transforming a vacant and deteriorated warehouse and office facility into a modern, functional space ready for the
incoming tenant, Holt JCB.

Following years of alteration, damage and vandalism, the building was stripped back to its structural frame. This exposed a number of issues, including defects in the steelwork and masonry, which were carefully repaired as part of the programme.

Alongside the core refurbishment, the scheme included significant external works to support the tenant’s operations, including a large new concrete yard and upgrades to drainage infrastructure. The result is a fully refurbished unit designed to support both office and largescale plant operations.

• Construction of a new 1100m² external concrete yard slab to support plant operations
• Design and installation of a new single‑storey glazed entrance reception
