External Works, Weston General Hospital

We were appointed to deliver the external refurbishment of Weston General Hospital, upgrading key elements of the building envelope, including fascia, soffits and guttering systems.

The works were carried out across multiple phases within a live hospital environment, with Phase 1 focused around seven internal courtyards at the heart of the main building. This presented significant logistical challenges, requiring all materials and scaffolding to be carefully transported through active hospital circulation areas, during and outside of normal working hours.

Following the successful completion of Phase 1, we were further appointed on a negotiated basis to deliver Phase 2 works. These extended across the flank and rear elevations of the main building, along with ancillary corridors and the Estates Building, completing in Summer 2023.
